Nike Fleming joined University of Iowa Health Care in June 2015. Her work on the legal team focuses on patient care issues, risk management, and professional liability litigation. Prior to joining UIHC, she was in the University Counsel offices at the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Colorado. She began her career at a private law firm in Denver, Colorado, where her practice focused on representation of physicians, hospitals, and other licensed professionals. She obtained her law degree from the University of Iowa and her B.A. from Valparaiso University. Nike is an Iowa City native and lives here with her husband and two children.
