Biography
Katie Frank joined the Office of the General Counsel in 2026. She is a seasoned trial attorney who brings broad litigation experience and pragmatic problem-solving skills to her position. Prior to joining the OGC, Katie worked for 13 years as an attorney for the State of Iowa, including roles in the Attorney General’s Office and the State Public Defender’s Office. She has taught as an adjunct instructor for the Iowa College of Law, where she earned her juris doctor in 2013. She is a former student-athlete, earning a bachelor’s degree in political science from Creighton University while playing basketball from 2006-2010.
