Alex joined UI Health Care in 2026 as a Paralegal, bringing strong experience in legal support, administrative coordination, and departmental operations across both a private practice law firm and UI Health Care. Prior to joining the Office of the General Counsel, she has experience as a Legal Assistant at Simmons Perrine PLC, and as an Administrative Services Coordinator and Accounts Manager in the Department of Neurology at UI Health Care. She is experienced in case management systems, document organization, and trial preparation. Her background in healthcare administration also provides her with strong organizational, financial management, and cross-functional coordination skills. 

Alex earned her B.A. in Health and Human Physiology on the Health Studies track from the University of Iowa. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
